Behold this new trailer for Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel

Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel

By on December 10, 2012 at 5:23 pm

We reported back in August that a new ‘refresh’ of the Army of Two franchise was in the works, ’The Devil’s Cartel’. Now at the VGAs over the weekend, a trailer for this new instalment was released.

Well, it certainly looks pretty, and it does look fun, but… okay, that’s pretty much all there is to say about it at this point. If you’re interested, there’s another trailer over here featuring Hip Hop artists Big Boi and B.o.B talking about their experiences doing the voice acting for the game. They also collaborated on the game’s theme song, ‘Double or Nothing’.

I really liked the first Ao2, and the second was interesting in how it tried to present complex choices.

But this just looks like bog-standard military-porn. Very uninteresting. The fact that they have ‘hip-hop’ artists doing voiceovers also tells me everything I want to know about what it’s going to sound like, bro.

^Agreed, this one however looks like…………………………………………

Not getting It, going to be crap.

i liked the first two. hope this ones at least on pc. and that ea fix origin by the time it comes out. im having trouble with nearly every game, something about native iso support in windows 8 fucking with the security module in most origin games :/

The first one was a great title and the second fixed a few things but botched some other things up. There’s just something about the gameplay that Ao2 needs to do better to make it as solid as, say, Uncharted or Gears of War (mainly the later).

It looks like this third outing might just do that… but I hope the story doesn’t end up being a mess in the process.

No idea about the games, they always looked a little too similar to other shooters. But Iike B.o.B and Big Boi, so that’s something!
