Talking moustache, err, Ocean Quigley, tells us about SimCity some more

Oh, Ocean! You are so dreamy! Not only is your name ‘Ocean Quigley’ which is a draw card in itself, butlook at that moustache! But, alas! Let us talk about games for a moment.

Ocean Quigley (siiiigh) is the lead creative director on SimCity, and he is here today with a new video telling us more about his game. Admittedly, not a lot more. His video doesn’t really tell us a lot about the game that we don’t already know. It does remind me why I want to pick it up so bad though, not to mention it gives us a long, lingering look at that moustache. I will listen to anything that moustache has to say to me.

The new rebooted SimCity really does look excellent, providing you are already a fan of the SimCity games. If you aren’t, I guess it could go either way. If you hate them though, this probably isn’t the game for you. Be on your way! The Moustache commands it!

Hi, I’m Ocean Quigley and I’m the creative director of THIS FREAKIN SWEET MOUSTACHE!

Going to say that this game is looking very good, seems to hold onto all the features of previous games with a much nicer looking presentation.

This is where I would throw in a; shut up and take my money gif If i had one to post.

That looks outstanding and has me extremely excited for its release. Love the new building placement animations, love the idea of criminals crossing borders and REALLY love the idea of building next to someone else on the same land-mass.

It also just looks more fluid than previous building games too… in the meantime I might have to reinstal Cities XL 12.

might just be me but not a huge fan of the cartoon style graphics, would prefer a more realistic approach

I was a bit hesitant to feel the awe of the moustache but after actually seeing it… yeah its pretty good. Mostly because he also has a beard.

I am looking forward to this game, I would remake Adelaide in it but I’m afraid all my older citizens would be afraid of change and all the underage teens would binge drink in my lovely parks all weekend long.

silenceoz,

Build the bottle shops around the parkland so the drunk teens don’t have to bother the conservative folk.

I wouldn’t mind seeing what happens if I just try my hardest to break this game. As in do everything bad and just see what happens. Also, that man has one hell of a moustache/beard combo.
