We all knew it was coming, but now it's official.

We all knew it was on the way, but we were all waiting for a final date — and now we have it. As of November 15, Star Wars: The Old Republic will have a free-to-play option. The switch over to F2P will be simultaneous across all territories and countries.
Those who are still paying the subscription fee on November 15 will be granted all their Complimentary Cartel Coins and a one time pay-out of 250 Complimentary Cartel Coins. Also, if you reactivate your subscription by December 20, you will be granted Complimentary Cartel Coins for prior paid months up to November 15.
What we should really take away from this is that, finally, SW:TOR is going free-to-play. What do you think about that? Do you think you’ll re-download now that there’s no subscription fee? I’m certainly considering it. How do you think it will stand up to other F2P fare? Let us know below.
