MR TORGUE WOULD LIKE A WORD WITH YOU REGARDING EXPLOSIONS

“I’m Torgue, and I’m here to ask you one question, and one question only – EXPLOSIONS?!”

The second campaign add-on for Borderlands 2 came out overnight: Mr Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage! The trailer looks pretty good, and Torgue himself is as if Duke Nukem and Saxton Hale had a lovechild, and they fed that lovechild on a heady mix of adrenaline, steroids and Red Bull. This is not a bad result if you like your characters silly and over-the-top, which we here at GON certainly do.

Check it out and let us know what you think of the trailer. Even if you didn’t think the DLC was as good as Capt. Scarlett’s. I’m looking at you, Makena.

I finished this this afternoon, it’s fairly short and has some funny moments in it, but I didn’t think it was as good as the Captain Scarlett DLC.

Also, I honestly expected MORE EXPLOSIONS!

Oh and I just noticed I was called out, and well, YOU’RE NOT MY REAL DAD, YOU CAN’T TELL ME WHAT DLC TO LIKE BETTER!

dat boob jiggle

DaFuq did I just watch?

makena,

Strange, I wasn’t that impressed with Captain Scarlett tbh. Felt empty and was full of fetch quests. That trailer has me really pumped as Tiny Tina was my FAVORITE character in the main game and Mad Moxxi being around is also epic. That’s another thing about Captain Scarlett that was off to me, it felt so separated from the rest of the world.

I felt that Captain Scarlett had a story that was somewhat interesting. While this new one has new interesting characters, and the return of awesome characters, and that’s where the highlights come from, the rest is fairly forgettable.

WHY IS THERE SO MUCH CAPS?!!!1!111!

It was ok, better than i thought it was going to be for an arena styled dlc.
I did much prefer scarlett though.
In scarlett i got a few new pieces of loot, in this i replaced nothing.

Was a few hours of fun, i will go back with a lower level character and play through the side missions and such later.

Not raising the level cap is what is killing these dlc tbh, theres no reason to even bother with the sidequests if you do the dlc at level cap.

(does anyone know where the last cookie crate is? i was one short and searched for a while then gave up)

spoidar,

Haha, I think Torgue has the same voice actor as Hercule from DBZ.
