Looks exactly like Hawken.. not sure which one will be better though

They’re two very different games, Hawken is more of a fast paced twitch based first person shooter, MWO is slower and more simulator-ish.

Also, funky trailer.

pretty much…

Hawken is very twitch based, one wrong dash and you eat a TOW rocket to the face (yes they probably didn’t know what TOW means IRL and just stuck it in from the list of names of popular military weapon)… and you lose half or more of your health.

a second late in reaction and an HE charge (essentially a grenade) lands on your feet and blow smash you apart.

MWO like most Mechwarrior is on the opposite end…

you will literally trade shots with another mech like 2 boxer… hitting each other again and again while both try to nail the weak sections of the mech.

It’s fairly common for 2 mech to smash each other with enormous amount of firepower and by mid point of a fight most mech in MWO that were involved in the fight usually look like a mess, missing an arm, a leg, side torso etc..

and the fight can still go on till someone finally core the mech’s center torso and blew the engine apart or smash the cockpit… or blew both legs off…

Alternatively from time to time someone that carry no CASE or did not know how CASE work will have his ammunition storage shot and he explode like 4th of July firework.
