Massive fan-made ‘Back to School’ campaign released for Left 4 Dead 2, download it here

Back To School L4D2 campaign

By on November 1, 2012 at 4:56 pm

One of the most anticipated Left 4 Dead 2 mods on ModDB, ‘Back to School’, is now out. The campaign is designed around an all-new original setting that doesn’t alter or mess with the official campaigns at all, which gives it freedom to do some huge and insane stuff. Take a look at the trailer below, then grab it from our file library. Celebrate Halloween slightly late by playing this with three mates over the weekend!

Now that was a cracking good song, and a bloody good trailer. Looks like its Back to School AND back to L4D2 for me and some friends.

Any chance of getting this on Node/3FL servers? Sucks having to local host this stuff.

and?

Was that trailer supposed to make this custom campaign awesome? It just looked like the regular left 4 dead to me..

The scripted stuff was really cool, like the Jet flying overhead and bombing a building, or the truck driving through the map. I dont remember anything like that in the base game

Aren’t the zombies a new addition?

So the scripted stuff that have absolutely no bearing on the outcome of the campaign and are just there to make it look flashy are what makes it better than the base game?
