Crysis 3 alpha test key giveaway – 100 more up for grabs! (All gone)

Right now, there’s three important things you need to know. The first is that games.on.net is giving away 100 keys to the Crysis 3 multiplayer alpha test, starting this Friday. The second thing is that we’ve got Crysis 3 multiplayer servers spun up and ready to go, just waiting for you to play on when Friday comes around.

It all goes live Friday 2nd November 8am GMT, and ends Saturday 10th November, midnight GMT.

Fair enough! To get a key, all you need to do is head over to this forum thread right here and post a reply saying “Please give me a Crysis 3 key!”. That’s it! We’ll then send you a key via PM which you can redeem in Origin. Pre-loading is available as of now.

I think that’s a bug – you’re not actually getting that ping.

But you are. There’s a lag between hitting jump and actually doing it, between chatting and it appearing on screen after you hit enter. It’s like I’m playing on an international server.
Maybe I’ll just chalk it up to being an Alpha but I dont see how they could code in a way to artificially inflate the time it takes for my PC to communicate with your servers. Lame.
It plays like crysis 2, but done properly. Less dressed up CoD feel this time around, but the HUD is mostly the same, unfortunately.
This may seem weird, but I’m looking forward to a crysis 4, fingers crossed without EA involved. Then they might make a game that truly deserves to be a part of the Crysis series.
The multiplayer is a lot of fun. Man, smashing an attacker with the detachable shield was a highlight, as well as taking out a group of defenders with a C4 dropped from above… good fun! No nano vision this time though?
The performance is much worse than Crysis 1 or 2 for me, I don’t think it’s using SLI as I had to drop my settings down quite a bit to get it to play smoothly, but it sure does look nice. Also there seems to be a bug where it constantly streams your webcam mic.

The latency reported in game is wrong, we had a single C3 server running on dedicated hardware in Adelaide (where we are) and still got huge ping times in game. It is an alpha, it is buggy, we’ve mentioned it to the devs.
yeah the game is a bit laggy hope this only because its beta and will be ok in full game :)
Please give me a Crysis 3 key!
