Blizzard planning a new WarCraft game? Company files dispute over domain name

WarCraft III Footman

Blizzard have filed a complaint with the National Arbitration Forum on domain names, asking that the domain HeroesofWarcraft.com be transferred to their control.

While you might suspect the company is simply protecting what’s theirs, when you combine this with the fact that Blizzard also created and registered HeroesofWarcraft.co.uk back in September, rumours are starting to swirl that this is the all part of the plan for a new WarCraft title.

“Heroes of WarCraft” was the original name for WarCraft III, and although speculation about a new WarCraft game has always been wild amongst fans of the iconic fantasy-themed RTS, this is the first strong indication that Blizzard may be about to make a public move.

Project Titan possibly? Although it has been said to be another MMO that will run along side WoW so it could throw that theory out the window.

Titan is the next Blizzard MMO after WoW

Hope this is a new fantasy RTS!

Surely Titan is not going to be another Warcraft game. That would be kind of underwhelming.

Possibly not unwelcome though. Should be interesting.

I quite wow a long time ago along with all other mmo’s, but I would definitely start playing again if there was a WoW 2.0

Didn’t they want to create a DotA clone with Starcraft 2, except with notable character from all series showing up?

Perhaps this is the replacement.

pls not a moba. There’s enough already.

Lol @ moba comments. Don’t you already know about Blizzard All-Stars? :P I’m looking forward to it as it’s the first Moba to finally remove last hitting. Though i’m worried they may have oversimplified stats and items.

i hope its a free to play facebook game with shitloads of adds!
