Battlefield 3′s latest expansion, Aftermath, launching soon – here’s the trailer

Aftermath, if you’ll pardon the pun, looks set to really shake things up. With maps plagued by random earthquakes, modified vehicles, crossbows and destructible terrain, it seems like it’d be one hell of an interesting place to fight on. The Aftermath expansion is now available for BF3 Premium users on PS3 only, with the glorious PC-gaming master race (and XBox 360s) being forced to wait until December 4. If you’re not a Premium member you’ll have to wait even longer, until December 11 (for PS3) or December 18 (for everybody else).

One day I’ll get back into BF3 and get make use of my premium membership.
At least it doesnt have the BF3 blue tint anymore, its now limited to consoles brown and yellow
I got back into it recently… after 200 hours of BF3 on Xbox, coming back to PC was a revelation, so much so that I had to grab Premium there was well. Gorgeous game, good fun, looking forward to new content especially as I found AK to be a bit of a letdown.
this still going? lost interest a while back. stupid to keep bringing out ‘new stuff’ every 3 months or so…losing its appeal.
i miss bf3 :( but i already paid for the game (lltd etd) i wasnt gunna buy the game again for all the DLCs… pity
BF3 is my “go to” game… The game I play when I don’t know what to play. I always enjoy a good BF3 session.

I sincerely wish I could get the money I spent on this game, and the Premium membership back. What a waste. Someone call me when they make Bad Company 3.

I kinda dislike the whole “bad-signal” visual approach EA has for their BF3 trailers. The static and flickering is a bit annoying, and I’m not sure what it’s supposed to represent.

I was thinking exactly the same thing last night. I had a match to see if they had fixed the gameplay after a month playing other stuff. Nup, still as broken as when I left it.
In fact i’m going to push to get a refund at this point. I’m sick of being ripped off by second rate products, in the hope they will be fixed. Plenty of other games to play at the moment that actually work!
Also wtf is with the crossbow?! What a complete COD rip off! So much for DICE doing their own thing, bunch of hypocrital, sellout copycats !! Pathetic!
You’re the sort of person driving the yearly game release market. “Oh, its been out for a few months. Ditch that shit and make a new version already.” And why is ‘new stuff’ in quotes? Its quite clearly new, there’s no reason to imply it somehow isn’t.
To expand upon that, we no longer get Mod tools from these developers to do what we will with the game because it would expand the lifecycle of the game and push into the sales of the next iteration. Cool move.
