Haha, I like this trailer. It’s not even a trailer. Jake Solomon, lead designer on XCOM: Enemy Unknown spends his day in a video game retailer trying to sell copies of his own game. Largely unsuccessfully, I might add. Oops, should put a spoiler warning there. It’s a good watch, even if it doesn’t really make me want to buy the game. Check it out below.

I am in love with this video.
Hahaha thats great. Bought it this morning actually for $33, cant wait :D
I wish more devs did this. XD
Side note: XCOM was probably the game that really made me fall in love with PC gaming. So looking forward to it.
What a great Marketing idea, lol. It helps that he had a bit of a personality i guess.
Haha, props to the guy for doing his own marketing.
Hahaha, great watch.
“It doesn’t sound like fun when I’m saying it like that, but it is.”

I’m so nervous about this game. I want it to be amazing. I really am looking forward to it.
My respect for Jake Solomon has increased quite a lot.
Thanks mate :)
What a top bloke.
Awesome fun, though should stick to being a dev, his sales skills are too rusty :D
good idea that a leading dev is interacting with his customers, its like what you call “grass roots level” like in sport
This trailer just made me buy the game – haha.
