World of Warcraft hacker runs around leaving entire cities dead

Over the weekend, various citizens of Azeroth were terrorised by a level one priest who thought it’d be a sweet idea to run through major cities and use mad sploitz to kill every player and NPC around them instantly. The priest, by the name of ‘Haahaahaahah’, can be seen in the video below trashing everything that is good and holy and filling Stormwind with corpses — something that Blizzard have immediately hotfixed and are hotly chasing down the culprit of. Check out the video below which shows the massacre in action:

ive never actually seen gameplay of WoW

it looks like crap…..

It’s the end of the world…of warcraft…

ball0fire,

The only reason I’ve never touched WoW is that I don’t want to get addicted to it. The game might be great but too many people have ruined their lives with addictive MMOs, and I’m partial to getting addicted to things.

Same reason I’ve never smoked a ciggy (though made easier with the horrible smell).

Well I guess they’re lucky it isn’t Sword Art Online…..

ElectroTyrian,

Heyy, I’ve never played WoW or smoked a cigarette either! *fist bump*

It has it’s own aesthetic, not everyone will like it sure, but that’s one of the older areas which look terrible compared to the Mists of Pandaria areas, not to mention it looks like he’s running it on low, as mine looks much better than that, the lighting effects and shadows are really good in WoW. The game actually looks really nice with everything turned up in the new areas.

Anyways, this has already been fixed, blue post:

Earlier today, certain realms were affected by an in-game exploit, resulting in the deaths of player characters and non-player characters in some of the major cities. This exploit has already been hotfixed, so it should not be repeatable. It’s safe to continue playing and adventuring in major cities and elsewhere in Azeroth.

As with any exploit, we are taking this disruptive action very seriously and conducting a thorough investigation. If you have information relating to this incident, please email hacks@blizzard.com. We apologize for the inconvenience some of you experienced as a result of this and appreciate your understanding.

That….was……AWESOME! All those l337 guys on their mounts riding up to see what was going on and getting nuked. “Hello, Mr Epicman here with my Epic mount. What seems to be going on here Mr. level 1 prie” Magic.
