Latest test footage from 0x10c gives us a look at multiplayer

You guys like Minecraft, right? I think I heard that somewhere. How about a look at space-Minecraft, 0x10c? Notch has shared with us his latest test footage, giving us a brief glimpse of what gameplay might be like if we had friends that wanted to share the experience with us: multiplayer. Notch does note that the bot character is just a placeholder, so we’ll have no angry comments about that, and the occasional flickering is a bug. “But it’s a start,” he adds. Check it out below!

I still hold to my previous comments that he should be holding back until he has actual proper gameplay to show off. If this game apparently falls off the face of the earth and then reappears 6-12 months later with footage of the game actually being played, it will be the best thing to ever happen to it.

vcatkiller,

Agreed! It looks like complete rubbish atm, and I think it’s more likely to turn people off until it has been developed more.

(This is from a Minecraft fan)

I agree also, i was initially excited about playing a game like this… but now i have seen how… well… frankly how bad it is and i’m not that excited any more.

Yeah this shouldn’t have been released.. it’s not gameplay footage at all. Looks like something a college student would crap out in a few weeks.

It doesnt look like its multiplayer to me, controller another character with yourself is now multiplayer?

It looks like a really shitty version of what star citizen is meant to be.

Looks like its worth exactly 0×10 cents.

ooshp,

ZING!

In a hostel in the us so I cant stream but I’ll say “looks amazing”. Just to buck the trend :p

My mind had blown….

relaxedpossum,

Yes, you’re right. Ask a blind man and he couldn’t tell the difference between this and Crysis, it’s just that flat out amazing!

Couldn’t agree more with the above comments. I’ve watched 2 videos about walking down a corridor shooting lasers at the walls for no reason.
