Wow, that is awesome!

*Disclaimer* Actual gameplay experience not as awesome

Its funny to watch but there are a lot of BS moments and Die Hard 4.0 ripoffs but still a good watch.

LOL I just watched this after the Expendables 2. I’d say the acting was better in this…

ralphwiggum,

It usually isn’t if you’re bad at the game.

I assume that’s sarcasm since obviously no one act that stupid in BF3 in general unless they totally fail at BF? Unlike in this fan made work?

i mean, chopper hovering low in stationary position and missing completely at someone right in front of him?

fighters missing with their guns against another fighter that is doing nothing but an aileron roll?

sorry, my suspension of disbelief is rather faulty… when i saw them i was just incredulous.. kinda like watching a really bad hollywood action movie and noticing how dumb everyone is and shaking my head even though i know it’s just a movie and i am not supposed to take it that seriously…

i fly too much in BF3…

and i am sure most BF3 players have shot enough in the game to think along similar lines for the other parts.

Great video. Very entertaining, love the cinematic feel to how and where the camera angles were shot.

Love to see more of these fan made films!

Ramjet.

Speak for yourself. I’ve had some amazing gameplay moments in BF3. If you work with your squad, play together a single decent squad can win an entire game for a team. It’s great fun.

i don’t think he doubts it can be a great fun or that your squad can be coherent… (especially if they are your pals)

just don’t expect whole group to actually conveniently stand there for you to shoot, or that ppl actually setup a convenient situation as the vid for obvious reasons. (pub pilots are not that bad either at gunning things down, the opposite in fact since pilots who fail that hard at gunnery don’t live for long in general in the sky)

once in a blue moon, when the stars aligned correctly it might happen (random pub being random).

That’s the case for pretty much all games though. PUGs always make for a better gameplay experience. Would love to one day have a 64 player or ever 32 player fully organised PUG with predefined squads. Would be amazing. Use to do it with BF2, so much fun.

Sure, but that’s why he is not wrong either…

in general, actual gameplay experience is anything but close to it… because even assuming you have a whole squad coherent (perhaps your pals or what not), the enemy being random pub is unlikely to ever give you a consistent performance that can approximate ‘AWESOME’ for obvious reason.

sometimes you get to rofl stomp them, but in that case the enemy never amounted to giving any decent fight. Whereas if they actually are fighting back decently (a prerequisite for an actual awesome fight) then they are not gonna be that dumb…

You create awesome moments in BF pub by putting C4 on everything, blocking team mates in narrow corridors and flying choppers like they’re cars (with C4 on).
