PAX Australia heading to Melbourne Showgrounds

PAX AUS

A PAX event coming to Australia was always going to be somewhere on the east coast, but with Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to choose from, at least two cities were going to walk away unhappy.

Those two cities are Brisbane and Sydney it seems, as Kotaku AU has got hold of a sales document which appears to confirm PAX Australia will be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds from July 19 – 21 of next year. There you go! Start your engines.

Sucks as I’ve got nowhere to stay and no way to get there. :(

I’ll certainly be trying to attend this!

Melbourne and in the middle of winter, excellent choice.

Will deffo be there.

Damn, was hoping it’d be in Sydney. Oh well, not sure how much I’d enjoy a convention like this anyway.

GOD YES.

I’m gonna try my hardest to be there. GON Stand?!

Over Uni holidays and a week before by birthday oh hell yes. 2 hours trip up there is worth it!

This is the most loved convention in the US. It’s going to be amazing seeing the guests they will manage to bring to out shores. KEN LEVINE PLEASE.

So. So. Going to be there.

We should organise a GoN camping event. Or something.

*looks up from crossed fingers* how did Townsville not win this…so disappointed, it was such a close race :D anyway, bloody amazing news that PAX is here that wherever it is, it’ll be fantastic! :D

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHH!
All those years of missing out on the EB Expo… I’m actually squeeing.

I’ll be there with bells on!

Cool, an excuse to go down to Melbourne!

Good excuse to meet some GONers, been too long!

Ill drive down from radelaide for this, Fill my car with nerds who will help pay for gas ^___^

raxkor,

If you can get in quick, it would probably be cheaper to fly.

matty,

Depends on how many people he takes over in the car. 8 hour trip, 2 tanks (depending) each way vs potentially 5 two way tickets (let’s say around $200 total per person return).
