New Remember Me trailer walks us through the ‘Combo Lab’ mechanic

Remember Me

Fresh from the Tokyo Games Show is this new trailer for Remember Me, upcoming stealthy/actiony/adventurey game from Capcom and Dontnod. This latest offering shows us one of the game’s more innovative mechanics: the combo lab, where you create your own fighting combos to regain health, speed up cooldowns, and other functions necessary for fighting any battles.

Personally, I’m not sure how I feel about this one. Seems like an interesting and definitely innovative idea, but it does seems like it would break the flow of the game a little, to be constantly going into the menu in the middle of combat. On the other hand, ‘breaking the flow’ almost seems like a bit of a theme in this game, so maybe it’ll fit right in. Let us know what you think in the comments.
