Natural Selection 2 pre-orders are now available on Steam

Natural Selection 2

If you’ve been waiting for Natural Selection 2 to show up on Steam, wait no further: the game is now available to pre-purchase for $24.99 USD, or a four-pack for $74.99 (a delightful 25% saving). All Steam pre-orders will automatically be upgraded to the digital deluxe edition, which gives you access to the soundtrack, art book, wallpapers, avatars, and exclusive in-game marine armour.

But that’s not all — if you’re one of the faithful who pre-ordered the game before it showed up on Steam, you’ll not only automatically get a free upgrade to the Steam digital deluxe edition, but a free copy of the standard edition to give away (or “stroke lovingly,” according to the developer) and continued private beta access right up to the October launch.

Very pleasantly surprised to get this “extra” stuff!

Just played a mad game, we were struggling at the start and killed the parasites and pushed them back and won.

if i buy of steam, can i play now?

Probably a stupid question… but the 4-pack is 4 digital copies of the game, correct?

inz,

since when do you buy physical copies off steam, yes a bit silly that question is.

No, it is no longer possible to get beta access. Purchase now and play when it is released.

I’m pretty sure the question revolved around how many copies of the game, not specifying the TYPE of copy.

4-pack …

Hmm Only standard edition extra copy eh? Nothing popping up in my Inventory yet. Perhaps only once the game is released.

stoibs,

“To be clear, the gift copies are still sliding through the pipes, and will not have arrived in your inventories yet. We are working on it.”

I just hope that it isn’t such a pig to run come release day.
