"the problem being many people are using email addresses and passwords specific to their gw2 account and still supposedly being ‘hacked’."

i am curious as to how we know this given the tendency for ppl to do the opposite, unless we actually know these 'many ppl'.

i mean their support isn't 'good' indeed from my own experience, but if there's anything i've learned is that i trust the words of some random unknowns on the internet even more.

Thousands of people can't 'get out there' because their accounts are banned for unknown reasons and support is next to useless.

and I mean accounts that had nothing to do with exploits .etc.

they just have really generic banned reasons that the CS then says is related to being 'hacked' or 'compromised'.
the problem being many people are using email addresses and passwords specific to their gw2 account and still supposedly being 'hacked'.

the real problem comes when wait times just for a response on a ticket are over a week and morons who were exploiting are getting their problems resolved first.

Perhaps that could be something done for the future?

a special in depth article resembling a guide for popular game? Hell maybe even let GON players contribute to it as well similar to the ‘Ask your question’ chance that GON then ask to developers.

could put a vote period first as well to see what title GONers would like from current popular games.

This guide was really just to get people who were a little unsure about WvW started.

But that's a great idea, we'd definitely be happy to run indepth guides. We're already planning on hitting up ArenaNet for an interview after the dust settles a bit anyway.

Fixed the typo, cheers.

oh incidentally,
"Defending and attacking structures is made much easier by purchasing schematics for siege weapons, like battery rams and trebuchets"
while i am amused at the idea of Battery rams... i think you meant battering rams here.

syncourt:

Not only do you use supply to build siege weapons but it also stocks up inside your defended structures which is used to keep your walls and gates repaired. Let your supply lines get cut during a battle or run your stored supply dry and you will find yourself unable to repair the base.

Cheers for that, I wanted to cover supply in a bit more depth but, frankly, I could have written another 800 words in detail if I wanted.

I am loving the WvW so far. Although unfortunately I can't participate properly in the larger battles due to my crappy PC running at 10 fps or less. But the idea is great, the whole supply lines thing is a nice touch and you can also buy defensive upgrades for your towers/keeps/castles like extra NPC defences and larger supply storage capacity.
