Despite its fair share of setbacks, Final Fantasy VII is now, finally, actually available on the PC in Australia — for $12 Australian dollars! Completely optimised for the PC and including 36 new achievements, not to mention cloud saves (teehee) so you can play from any other computer! Amazing! Check out the website over here for all the details or if you’re too lazy, at least watch the trailer below.

Personally I enjoyed Final Fantasy 8 more, hope that gets a remake soon! The old PC version looks horrrrible by todays standards. :P
Tsk, source = me (Having dealt with email marketing stats before, I hope someone is puzzled as to why someone opened the external link hundreds of times as a result of this) :P
Direct link to the store https://store.eu.square-enix.com/apac_au/pc-windows-download/FINAL-FANTASY-VII.php
If it’s still using SecuROM then it can GTFO as it will most likely use an activation limit too.
palzer0,
We get it, you hate DRM. You don’t need to spam literally every single news post and thread about SecuROM or GFWL and how you aren’t going to use it.
matty,
Try to not directly address the spam chat bots, you’ll only encourage them :)
Don’t be too hard on palzer, DRM killed his family, ran over his dog and took the last cookie when he wasn’t looking. Possibly.
America paid $2 less for it!! Ripped off!
You did indeed send it through, but our contact at Namco Bandai (who handle Squenix stuff in AU) sent it through 15 minutes earlier, and that’s the ‘more information’ link he gave! Nothing suss going on, I’m sorry.Scratch that, I’m totally wrong. His ‘more info’ link went nowhere so I used yours. I apologise!
