If you’ve got Zerg on the brain like me, you’ll be keen to know that the next installment of StarCraft II, Heart of the Swarm, begins beta testing as of today. Announced overnight on the StarCraft II blog, testers are invited to opt-in under the Account Management > Beta Profile Settings section of their account.

Although initial testing is limited to “a select group of pro-gamers, members of the press, Arcade contest winners, and shoutcasters”, none of the testing group are under NDA, so expect full impressions to start hitting the internet soon — not least of all from us here at

How do you like my groove, Daggoth?

Well done.
