Beta testing for StarCraft II’s ‘Heart of the Swarm’ begins today

StarCraft II: Heart of the Swam

If you’ve got Zerg on the brain like me, you’ll be keen to know that the next installment of StarCraft II, Heart of the Swarm, begins beta testing as of today. Announced overnight on the StarCraft II blog, testers are invited to opt-in under the Account Management > Beta Profile Settings section of their battle.net account.

Although initial testing is limited to “a select group of pro-gamers, members of the press, Arcade contest winners, and shoutcasters”, none of the testing group are under NDA, so expect full impressions to start hitting the internet soon — not least of all from us here at games.on.net.

How do you like my groove, Daggoth?

Well done.

A lot of progamers have been streaming it, Day[9] is about to start his daily on it with him playing Sheth (http://day9.tv/).

I’m waiting for the balance whine to start, from so many people who don’t seem to understand what a beta is lol.
