Star Wars 1313 “parallels Dante’s Inferno”

In a new trailer showing off Star Wars 1313, continuity designer Phil Szostak compares the third-person action title’s setting to the hell of Dante’s Inferno, and says descending to 1313 from the surface of Coruscant will take us from ‘the Star Wars we know’ to something murkier. Later, 1313 is described as “the bad part of town” and also as “a character in its own right”. Neat.
LucasArts has very carefully avoided telling anyone what platforms Star War 1313 is expected on, although it’s been demonstrated on high-end PCs, nor given it a release window, convincing everyone we’re probably looking at a next-gen console launch title.

At 2:57 you can see the man that seems to be testing the game is using what appears to be a Wired XBOX 360 controller. Perhaps its going to be available on XBOX from that?
So what actually makes this a Star Wars game? All I see is humans with laser guns and aliens. They have that in Star Trek too.

the gunplay reminds me pretty strongly of Uncharted

360 Controller != on 360 though. Not sure, but it looks awesome. :D
I still can’t seem to muster any form of excitement over this game, regardless of how many screenshots/videos I’ve looked at. I try to muster an ounce of enthusiasm but it just doesn’t happen. Am I doing something wrong?

It’s almost like different games appeal to different people ;)
I’m into this game so far (Or at least, the idea of this game), but I’m generally into Star Wars, especially when Jedi are not involved.
The negatives thrown at it are normally about it looking to be a cover based shooter, but as I don’t play may of that type of game, it doesn’t feel overdone to me.

Being set at a focal point within the Star Wars universe is a pretty good reason for this to be a Star Wars game.
