Gotham City Impostors free-to-play outed in Steam database

The Steam database registry has been updated with a new entry for a “Gotham City Impostors F2P Trailer”, as noticed by Marlamin. While there’s been no official word from the publisher about an F2P version, it would be a good fit for the game, especially in the light of Team Fortress 2‘s raging F2P success.
Steam database registry entries are rarely wrong, with them previously being used to out the existence of games such as Sword and Sworcery and Black Ops coming to the Mac. More confirmation over at The CDR Database.

I would defiantly F2P as I am to poor to buy it!
The concept never really grabbed me as something I would like…
But that’s the beauty of F2P…you get to try it out just for the hell of it..if you like it, cool; if not, uninstall. It’s hard to have that mindset when you actually pay for a game, as you feel obligated to play the game because you spent so much money on it.
More still, because it seemed like a crappy concept, you overlooked the title, would have never tried it, and may have missed out on a great game.

….having said all that, it really does seem like a stupid concept. I’m not even sure F2P would make me try it…lol
It is a lot of fun, the gadgets and the atmosphere make it a pretty relaxed fun game to play…at least when it can find people to match you with :<
I bought it with the batman pack in the summer sale, and I kinda want to play it before it goes f2p so I can justify buying it. I hope I get a special prize.
i bought it on release. hardly played it. what i did play was surprisingly fun, but if it goes f2p, it needs to have dedicated servers and a browser before id bother trying again. but i guess if enough people play, it would be irrelevant with enough local players
Awesome game, but I keep getting kicked from matches! SOOOO ANNOYING!
Anyone else having this problem? Steam forums seem to be rife with people getting kicked constantly.
Does this game do dedicated servers? Because its needed desperately!
