Just when you thought you couldn’t get any more excited for Dishonored, Bethesda has pulled out the publisher big-bucks and nailed down an impressive array of vocal talent to lend colour to the grimly beautiful city of Dunwall. Carrie “Princess Leia” Fisher is probably the crown jewel in terms of geek cred, lending her talents to government propaganda broadcasts, but it’s hard to go past Brad “Wormtongue” Dourif as Piero, the inventor of Corvo’s mask. Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon is on board, too; the Thelma & Louise and Cloud Atlas star plays Granny Rags.
Just in case your monocle is still wedged in your eye socket, Mad Men’s John Slattery plays Admiral Havelock; Reservoir Dogs’ Michael Madsen is fellow assassin Daud; and Young Lady Emily is voiced by Chloë Grace Moretz, better known as “the girl from Kick-Ass and Hugo”.
Dishonored arrives on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in October.

Sounds good, although currently “This item is currently unavailable in your region” according to Steam :(
darthlondar,
yep went to try and per-order it yesterday having the same issue
Strange that it’s “not available”. It’s passed classification and what not already.
Publisher deciding how much extra to charge us over here perhaps?
That’s not “an impressive array of vocal talent”.
Well please enlighten us, who would be?
Anyways, am I the only one not that excited about Dishonored? I saw the game play and it just looked like Bioshock.
Brad “Wormtongue” Dourif? He’ll always be Brad “Piter De Vries” Dourif to me.
Looks absolutely nothing like Bioshock if you watch any gameplay footage. More like Deus Ex in terms of gameplay.
ooshp,
That’s where I got the impression from. Just seemed similar in aesthetics and the plasmid/magic stuff, along with how it played out.
Has some similar looking mechanics as to Bioshock, but looks to offer far more freedom in their use and their breadth.
Can’t wait for this game to come out, pumped for it.
I think it looks a lot more similar to Dark Messiah Might & Magic than Bioshock.
It just looks great to me, can’t wait for this. Something fresh! Nothing wrong with that in this day and age lol
Yeah I don’t mean to do a “Been done! Looks remotely like something else!” Just the vibe of it didn’t really ring out to Dues Ex for me. Still, the quality of the voice actors makes me interested just to hear them.
I kind of got a Bioshock vibe when I watched some footage as well, that being said I could only see that as a positive.
of course it looks similar to Dark Messiah…
it’s the same developer as Dark Messiah
which actually was kinda fun IF THE GAME WASN’T SO TRIVIAL WITH KICK.
so let’s hope they learned the lesson this time around.
