It certainly feels like they’ve got a great balance between 1.6 and source anyway. Only complaint is the bloody buy menu, but I’ll get used to it!

I did exactly the same thing. Almost bought the pack without realising. I bet quite a few people did that.

I’ve played about 45 minutes of it this afternoon, I’m enjoying it so far. Its fixed something intangible that I didn’t like about CS:S.

I got the beta access ages ago (thanks to GON I think) but everytime I have played there have been up to one other person I see if that. Last night however there was a server with 5 players at one stage and 3 of them had 300ping. The guns have been improved A LOT since I last played the beta.
