Codemasters announce GRID 2 with this announcement trailer

GRID 2 has just been announced by Codemasters, and it is looking prettier than ever. “Following the success of GRID, which set new standards for damage, AI, visuals and introduced the Flashback time rewind feature – now adopted by many racing games,” the game’s description says snarkily, “GRID 2 will again raise the gameplay and technological bar for motorsport gaming and remain true to the series’ core value — it’s all about the race.” GRID 2 will see release in 2013, but preorders are available now. So, like it says, be fast, be famous, be first (be furious?). Make sure you check out the announcement trailer below.

Too much street racing for my liking.

Being GRID It will have a variety of Motorsports. First one had track, street, downhill, drift & derby.

GeneralHerpes.

YES! Finally.

I’m down with this :D

yeee haw!
really enjoyed the 1st.

Yes!

Obviously an arcade game. I saw a corvette turning.

/\ lol

Really loved Grid and have been waiting for 2 for a long time. But with Forza Horizon on the, well, you know, and with Most Wanted getting a reboot, do we really want more track-racing?

Probably, yes.

I discount Forza (& Gran Turismo) for being a console exclusive franchise.

I also like the course to not be all fuzzy and jaggy in the distance. :P

I hope they improve the rubbish GUI they have in the original.

Finally.

I loved grid 1 no other game has felt as realistic drifting or driving at high speeds through narrow mountain roads imo.

Great News thanks GON!
