Borderlands 2′s Zero a “sick sniper”, not a “generic ninja”

It might not be obvious from trailers and screenshots seen so far, but Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford is adamant that Zero isn’t just a run-of-the-mill ninja. In an interview with VG247, the enthusiastic developer revealed one of Zero’s high-level sniper abilities as proof of his dead-eye skills.
“Dude, generic ninja? What are you talking about? Zero’s awesome. Also, he has a sniper tree. In fact, I was playing a lot of Zero, and I focused almost exclusively on the sniepr tree, and there’s an awesome skill in there that’s unique to Zero – as a sniper – that you can get. When you get it, you can actually see the crit spots on the enemy and you get bonuses for sniping the crit spots. You are a sick sniper with Zero – but that’s not the only skill tree you can build.”
Borderlands 2 arrives in September for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Sniper Ninja? oh yeah!
oh fuck it, looks like I’m going to play as a sniper again
I didn’t find playing a sniper to my liking in 1, but that crit zone thing looks tempting.
Someone got a little excited typing that up.
What did you guys do to the comments section? My code didn’t work and I can’t edit my post, lol.
Mmm. I was going to go my usual pick (support, aka turret man) but might pick up zer0 first.

I was already going to play Zer0 but the addition of a sniper tree just re-affirms it…just 1 and a half months to go
