Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford took to Twitter yesterday to announce that most versions of Borderlands 2 have gone gold, meaning the game has been certified and is now ready to enter the manufacturing process; only the PlayStation Network and a few regional PlayStation 3 versions are yet to be signed off. Gearbox completed work on the game and moved onto DLC in early August.
Meanwhile, US ratings body the ESRB has had a good look at the game and awarded it an M classification (locally, we’ve got an MA for “strong violence”). The description of the game’s content which follows is decidedly not safe for work, but if you’re prepared for some adult (and pretty funny) language, you can checkit out here.
