Currently once you’ve managed to simply survive for a decent period of time you have to improvise your own gameplay, usually involving some form of interaction with other survivors.

It’s best played with others (preferably people you know and can ‘trust’), as you can talk to them on your journeys, cover each other and work together to acquire vehicles, horde items and setup camps.

flabcab: It doesn’t really sound like the usual type of game I go for but there must be something to it considering the amount of people buying ARMA II just for DayZ.

I do not overly recommend Arma 2 to people until I ask questions as to whether that person is going to enjoy a game. DayZ is fun for some people but personally I prefer playing arma 2 in a much more strategic way and with a group of people who treat it a bit more realistically. DayZ had some good moments but I found it was full of too many douchebag players to have fun. Also be prepared for ALOT of running.

On another note.. anyone looking to purchase batman arkham city, once you load the game set the affinity of the exe to 3 cores and also rename the videos. It will prevent the crashes but you do miss out on the cut scenes :/
