We reported at the beginning of the month that Vivendi were selling their majority share in Activision Blizzard. Now, a couple of weeks on, the feelers have been sent out, the buyers piqued, and there are a few parties that are potential candidates for the purchase of all or some of this delicious money-pie. Among them, Microsoft, Time Warner, and China’s Tencent. “It’s nothing official yet, but they’ve asked a bank to go and talk to possible buyers for Activision,” a source close to the Vivendi higher-ups has been quoted as saying.

Wow it just occurred to me how they could actually kill WoW – bundle it with GFWL!

NO!!! Don’t let Microsoft touch Acti-Blizz. It’s already bad enuff…
I would much rather Valve or THQ(They probably don’t have the cash.) to buy them out.
Valve doesn’t neglect the PC for starters, THQ should support them well enough.
Microsoft… Would be the lesser of two evils if it came to them or EA, at-least Microsoft isn’t afraid to release games on Steam. – Heck maybe Microsoft might bring Blizzard games to Steam?
Regardless who buys them out, I hope they fire Bobby Kotick, it would make my day.
Bobby Kotick left Activision to go and work at Coca-Cola..
