If only it were that simple. To get a 670 from my local PC store (where I would also have it installed for me) is $650. I could get one cheaper from places like PCCG but then I'd have to get it installed somehow.

Good thing I fit into the 25% of people who are immune to the ‘common cold.’

Just a correction to your article, the common cold is made up of about (or over, I cannot remember which) two hundreds different possible viruses and Rhinoviruses only make up about ninety-nine of those. In other interesting ‘common cold’ news, did you know that it is not the cold that causes your to experience all the coughing and sneezing and nose running, and the rest, but your immune system table-flipping over a virus that, if it took its best shot at you, unhindered, would not so much as leave a dint (which is why roughly a quarter of the population are immune).

So if you feel a cold coming on do NOT take immune boosters because you will just be fighting fire with fire; and oxygen; and sparklers; and other flammable stuff that would effectively complete this analogy…

Linux and Steam is great to see happening. And it may encourage some engines like id tech and unreal engine to officially support Linux again.

Cool that Steam is finally moving to linux. Might make linux a viable platform for gaming. I wonder how much they’re being influenced by the success of Android. Moving into distributing mobile games would be a big new market for them.
