Gearbox have announced that Borderlands 2 is now content-complete on-disc, and has been sent off for certification and testing. This isn’t the same as going gold, as the discs are yet to be printed, but the team is now shifting their attention to the game’s DLC as they can no longer make changes to the game before ship. That DLC includes, of course, the Mechromancer class – expected to be released roughly 2-3 months post-launch and free to all members of the Borderlands Premiere Club (aka “people who pre-order Borderlands 2“).

Hopefully I can find a decent price to pre-order it at :\
Lets hope they have learnt from the mistakes made in the PC release of the first game (such as uploading an old version to steams servers).
hopefully they improve the ending of the game, i.e. not like the first one
Good to hear!
:)…
WAITING!
Has this been confirmed as steamworks yet? Should probably start looking around at the usual “non price gouge” DD stores for a pre-order.
