Where did you get that from? All Notch said was that the world was genderless; we don't know how the steves (players) reproduce. It could be asexually for all we know.

The lack of a female model neve bothered me too much, really. A female voice set would be cool though…my Yuki skin sounds really odd falling off a cliff and uttering a deep gutteral grunt when she impacts the ground. <_<

(not that that really bothers me much either, just saying…)
